I'm Allison Mathis Jones, a basketball wife, fashionista, and avid world traveler on a journey towards becoming the best me I can be by pursuing spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical wellness. By sharing my experiences, I hope to inspire you to invest time and energy in your relationships, your mental health, and your overall well-being. I'm excited to have you join me on this journey, and while you're bound to learn a lot about me along the way, I wanted to share a few facts to help us get better acquainted...
I married my college sweetheart in 2014. We've been together since 2008 and whatever souls are made of, his and mine are the same.
I'm from Atlanta, but travel the world with my husband, who plays professional basketball overseas.
My mom is my best friend. We co-host a weekly podcast dedicated to celebrating the generational differences between mothers and daughters and cultivating closer relationships between the two.
I have a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling and am passionate about working with millennial couples to plan the marriages of their dreams through premarital and pre-engagement curriculum.
I'm a to-do list writing, perfectionist, plan-a-holic, control freak with zero patience. That being said, I deal with chronic anxiety.
Self-care and faith in God have helped me to begin to cope with my anxiety, which explains why both are an important part of my personal journey.
